A Vision of K-12 Students today: Role of filmmaking in the Cross Curricular Content and ICT section of the PDHPE syllabus Students are able to uses a range of technologies to produce and present their work; email, computer, internet, wikis, blogs, music. 7-10 PDHPE Syllabus Using technology: research and investigation in this syllabus involves using appropriate information technologies. Students also examine technologies related to training, sports medicine, the enhancement of performance and the health of Australians.
What the film says  Students expectations:  Create,  Consume,  Remix,  Share information with each other.
How it says it Average hours spent per week: Gaming: 3 ½ hrs Television: 16 ½ hrs Computer: 5 ½ hrs Reading: 2 hrs 76% of teachers haven’t used:  Blogs,  Wikis,  Podcasts.
Good features of the film in content and technique Gaining an understanding,  Inspiring teachers to use technology,  Engaging,  Motivating teachers.  Filmmaking techniques: Zooming in,  Panning, Angling.

How it says it This is shown through the use of:  Dialogue: “Oh mum! What are you thinking?!”.  Close-ups: Emotion of frustration from all of the characters, focusing on a particular subject.  Long-shots: Creates a bigger picture for the scene. Imagery: The surrounding environment and contexts of the scene/representations.
