Medical Coding
Medical Coding is one of the fastest
growing fields in health care. This
program gives the graduate the ability
to learn and work from home.
Medical Coding prepares individuals to
perform specialized data entry, classification,
and record keeping procedures related to
medical diagnostic, treatment, billing, and
insurance documentation. The program
includes instruction in medical records,
insurance software applications, basic
anatomy and physiology, medical
terminology, fundamentals of medical science
and treatment procedures, data classification
and coding, data entry skills, and regulations
relating to Medicare and insurance

the Level 1 nursing courses and
must be taken no more than ten
years prior to beginning the first
year of practical nursing courses.
