2. Industrial Revolution
❖ The Industrial Revolution was a period of time between the
18th and 19th centuries. In that time many new
inventions,and ideas were created,for
agriculture,farming,and transportation.
❖ This Revolution began in Britain, then it went to America,
Japan and west Europe.
3. Urbanization and Cottage
Industry
❖ Urbanization,is growth of Urban places,as things change in
the world.
❖ A manufacture or business,carried in your home.
❖ There was a migration of people from rural to urban during
the Industrial Revolution. Why did people move from farms
to cities during the Industrial Revolution?
4. Agricultural Revolution
❖ The Agricultural Revolution, was a time of the creation of
farming tools and instruments. It basically kicked off the
whole revolution,and that is how it all started.
❖ Crop rotation is when a bunch of different types of crops,
grown in the same area.

❖ The first commodity of The Revolution were textiles.
❖ A textile is cloth, woven or made out of organic fibers.
❖ The Spinning Mule,was the machine or tool used to make
textiles.
❖ Eli Whitney was the person who invented the Cotton Gin.
6. Steam Engine
❖ Thomas Savory invented the steam engine.
❖ James Watt was the person who improved the steam engine.
❖ The Steam Engine was invented in 1679.
❖ It was one of the main ways of transportation,and shipping
different goods.
7. Bessemer Process
❖ A inexpensive mass-production of steel,from pig iron.
❖ Henry Bessemer was the inventor of this process.
❖ It was important,because it decreased the price of steel.
8. Pasteurization
❖ Louis Pasteur was a French Chemist.
❖ He was the inventor of Pasteurization. It was away that
improved food sales,and that brought less sickness to the
area.

phonograph.
