Strategic Motivations
Create and structure an holistic, systemic, integrated and strategic
vision of the enterprise, its clients and environments of action.
Act by the integration of the enterprise vision and the customer
needs.
Drive the systematization, modeling and standardization of the
processes of the organization.
Organize the macro-processes of the enterprise to maintain a
continuous and fed backed, during the life cycles of projects and
products.
Act in a proactive, integrated and optimized way.
Integrate the strategic, tactic and operational plans.
In a multi-programs enterprise environmental, it is essential that the
organization adopt a generic process that can be adjusted to satisfy
the peculiarities of each program.

Concepts of Customer Needs
At times, customers become aware that they are not able to satisfy a
certain need.
Such customer requirement can be posed as a simple statement,
establishing that must be satisfied by a further system to be fully
characterized.
From the declaration of customer need, as a macro-vision description
of a system, one can expand it in greater detail levels, going from
what is known for what it is not, from simple to complex.
Such needs may require developing solutions in two main kinds:
Unprecedented systems and products which must be completely
developed by new technological and functional solutions.
Existing products and systems that must be modified to meet a new
need or one that has been significantly altered.

Concepts of Enterprise Vision
Companies are created for various reasons and purposes.
The statements of mission and strategic vision of the company allow
to realize what their goals are in terms of obtaining profits, providing
products to customers, participating in the market, etc..
The vision statement provides information about the systems and
needs of customers in which the company is focused.
The company will have multiple needs of clients to meet, resulting in
multiple programs, which should be developed through a generic
process that can be adjusted to the peculiarities of each program.
Through a structured process of analysis, it is possible to reach ever
higher levels of detail of the system to be built and achieve
understanding of the problem to be solved, translated into
requirements.
Figure 1 shows the model of integrating concepts of Enterprise
Vision and Customer Needs.

Concepts of Life Cycle of Projects and Products
It is the complete story of the product through its stages of research,
development, production, support, operation and obsolescence.
The life cycle of a product goes beyond the boundaries of the firm.
Thorough knowledge of each step is essential for the proper
management of enterprises.
Each product requires different strategies for their finances,
production, logistics and marketing in each of their life cycles.
Through strategic planning and action, one can act proactively,
systemic and integrated, in order to optimize the cost and
effectiveness over the life cycle.
The cycle repeats and is maintained by the feedbacks between the
sequences of stages, steps and processes.
Figure 2 shows the segmentation and integration between the
phases of the Life Cycle of Products and Projects.
