2. Mission
Our goal is to create a premier venue
that will enhance the guests’ visit at the
Bolger Center. With the amount of
space the property has, our idea of
creating a luxurious tent will bring
memorable experiences to all guests.
3. Mission- Cont’d
•Theme and its importance to design
•How the space is utilized
•Mode of service challenges projected to
design
6. Construction Proposal
The inspiration of this proposal derives from our client’s preference of
utilizing the venue as a semi-outdoor meeting space and the flexibility of
using the venue as a seasonal alternative.
Due to the variation of outdoor tents, we are attaching two possible structures which the
client can determine which selection can more suitable for the Bolger Center.

Explain that we are using 5000 sq. ft as the guideline to search for tents.
Also talk about the advantages and disadvantages of each, which can be found in proposal.
Explain the original landscape
Explain changes: handicap walkways added, new stairs added, pushing the venue 6ft backwards and the construction of stage.
This is a financial comparison of the two proposals: left-temporary tent vs right- semi-permanent. As you can see, except for the furnishing category, every other expense group is constant; and this is due to the purchasing of different tents. So in proposal 1, the projected total renovation cost approximately $1.5M and proposal 2 has the projection of $2.5, which is $1M more extra than proposal 1. Despite semi-permanent tent is more expensive, it has the benefits of a more elegant appearance, the ability of utilizing it throughout all seasons, and generating more banquet revenues. Therefore if having this venue to be available year-round, the second proposal may be a more ideal selection for your return on investment. Talk about furnishings (purple):Due to our knowledge that the Bolger Center prefer renting equipments for special events, these numbers are just estimates of the potential cost of purchasing. Therefore at the bottom we have subtotals, which is everything minus furnishing costs.
This is an illustration of how we approached this project, more details please see the proposal I sent out.
