2. What’s a Moodle?
An Interactive Class website
A modern way to deliver information to students
in a way they can relate to
An EASY way for teachers to get immediate
feedback
But most importantly
A safe place for students to learn, create their
own content, and share that content with each
other and their teacher

3. Why does it work?
Because kids are already online and surprisingly,
They want something to do while they’re there.
Online assignments don’t feel like “school”

4. And…
They WANT to be creative
They WANT to manipulate information
They WANT to show off what they’ve done
They WANT to connect with teachers in a
modern way
Moodle allows them to do that in a SAFE and
CONTROLLED environment

5. Finally…
Technology allows for those kids who may go
“unnoticed” to thrive.
It also allows them to take an active role in their
education.

6. This sounds complicated.
It’s not.
In fact, it’s incredibly simple once you get going.
The kids already know how to do almost
everything in the Moodle. It’s the teachers who
are intimidated.

7. So why should I ask my
teachers to spend time
learning this program?

are getting comfortable….
Then your students are getting bored

They’re not “students”, they’re people
