2. The making of the black dress
My friend made this dress for my music video as well as part of her own
coursework for Textiles.

4. Black Dress
The whole idea of this dress
came about from the
original music video and
how Selena wore a black
dress and my friend was
able to make a similar dress.
5. Red Sari
The red sari belongs to
Muhaddisa. I decided to
include a red sari due to the
Indian instrumental at the
beginning. I think it ties in really
well and will have a different
look to the music video. I
thought a mix would really
make the music video
different. With the red sari I
have made sure I have used
the correct jewellery like the
headpiece and earrings.
6. Make up
I wanted her make up to be simple but
effective. I definitely wanted bright red
lipstick as it will stand out with the black
dress as well as the red sari. Also the rose
petals match the red lipstick. I feel that this
gives a good colour scheme to work with;
black, white and red.
