3. Prayers and Praises
If you would like to have a prayer or praise added e-mail, call or remind me in person. I will do my best
to include it on the list.
Dave and Kim Clapper: Dave continues to undergo treatment for his brain cancer. Kim had
experienced some issues with her heart also. Please keep both of them in your prayers.
The Ott family: Two pillars of the Ott family past away this past month. Norma Neff, sister of Annie
Ott, past away. Just one day later Cletus Ott passed away. Amidst the grief hitting this family at their
passing, it was amazing to see the celebration of their lives.
The Pielmeier family: Kammy Pielmeier underwent a 2nd reconstructive surgery after being diagnosed
with breast cancer. Conner was involved in a freak accident at school in which he broke his right eye
socket in three places. He was taken to Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh and a few weeks later had 3
titanium plates inserted during his reconstructive surgery. Just prior to this they had to put to sleep a
second dog of theirs this year. Scott and the whole family really could use our prayers and supports,
especially to see how God's hand is at work through all they have gone through this year.
Jennifer Fye: Underwent back surgery and is recovering well.
Dan Hulse: Praise that Dan was able to find a part time job at Lowe's and seems to have worked out a
schedule where Dan and his family can continually bless our congregation with their music ministry.
I'm constantly told how much people are blessed their music.
Makayla and Sara Olivieri: My daughter is now at the Children's Institute in Pittsburgh working
around the clock with a feeding team to see if they can get her to take a bottle without some of it going
into her lungs. It will take up to 4 weeks, but she may not have to get a feeding tube if it's successful.
Pray for Sara as well. She is getting really worn down and Makayla still has almost a month more to go.
Sandy Morris: is recovering amazingly well from Emergent Bowel surgery.
AWANA teachers and helpers: A praise to all of you for the tireless dedication you display every
week toward a growing ministry that is making a REAL difference in the youth of Mill Run & Altoona.

4. Passage of the Month
“And I heard a loud voice from the throne
saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with
men, and he will live with them. They will
be his people, and God himself will be
with them and be their God. He will wipe
every tear from their eyes. There will be no
more death or mourning or crying or pain,
for the old order of things has passed
away." He who was seated on the throne
said, "I am making everything new!" Then
he said, "Write this down, for these words
are trustworthy and true."
