This document outlines an online language learning course. The course requires a basic understanding of computers and interest in online and blended learning. Students will apply their knowledge of language learning theory and methodology. Through the course, students will gain a greater understanding of online resources, learn to select and evaluate them, and create their own online or blended language course. Students will design part of an online course, justify their choices, and reflect on learning online technology for their own teaching contexts. The course involves online notes, independent and collaborative work, and Friday support sessions. Students will explore supporting learning through technologies like blogs, wikis, and apps as well as keeping up with current mobile learning trends.
