- Why do we need to conserve? Because the resources are depleting. We have become greedy. We do not use resources prudently…we waste a lot. There is one more reason for why do we need to conserve. Because use of too much of energy is disturbing the ecological balance of our planet. It is giving rise to global warming. Have you all heard about global warming? What is it?
