“The aim to create an android app to distribute and disseminate health related advisories,
programmes, talks, information which will be disseminated to the public of UP through the
Android audio streaming mobile application.”
Creating an atmosphere to create audio e-content through medical practitioners & policy makers for
citizens for delivery via mobile App.
 Creating an economically viable, easy to use audio platform to host the health care messages,
preventive health care advisory, information on diseases etc.
To spread awareness about available health care services in the State via App.
To promote preventive care advisory via audio content App Solution.
To provide information on medical assistance contact numbers of location based medical care facilities
and provide information on diagnosis, treatments across medical facilities available in the state.

5. UP Health Awareness Programmes
Create a dedicated customized internet audio streaming channel for UP Health and
Family Welfare to run ‘Audio on Demand’ for all its medical and family welfare
schemes and information data that is currently not accessible to its potential
listeners / audience.
Delivery of the audio streaming service to any internet connected device anytime and
anyplace.
This will help UP Health and Family welfare to exponentially increase its reach of its
audio content to its population having smart phones and internet access in the State.
UP Health and Family Welfare Department’s flagship programmes;
(i) School Health Programme (ii) National AIDS Control Programme (iii) Birth &
Control Programme (iv) National Iodine Deficiency Disorder Control
Programme; and Training Programmes such as
(i) ANM (ii) Public Health Nurse etc

classification.

Stage 2 – Development of Content
Development of content will be started in parallel after all categories and sub
categories have been created.
Optimum file quality recommendations:
1. Audio Content @64 Kbps , mp3 version.
2. Maximum file size of each file – 15 Mb. ( Free Storage included = 2 GB)
3. Clear description of each file name.
4. Each file should have a professional intro and clear quality sound for
enhanced user feedback and optimum relation towards the program.
5. Each uploaded audio file requires a clear relative image as reference for
audio file and category.
6. Each file must not be longer than 30 mins . If the total time length of the file is
more than 30 mins , then the file should be divided in parts with requisite
introductions and outro.

9. Finalization of Content structure &
development of content
■Stage 3: The Mobile app user interface wireframe blueprints and data integration
will begin within 2 weeks of finalizing the content meetings.
■Stage 4: The UI wireframes will be reviewed by the Uttar Pradesh Health and
Family Welfare department UP to give feedback over the UI data design and
features.
■Stage 5: Once the wireframes are approved the APP coding will be started and
the content data will be integrated accordingly while the UI development will star
simultaneously on the basis of the mobile app wireframes from week number 3
after finalization of content.
