2. Introduction/Agenda Star Chart - School Technology and Readiness! Star Chart is a tool for teachers that assesses technology integration into the classroom. This assessment is used for the new Texas Long-Range Plan for technology. The purpose for the chart is to help teachers develop technology skills and implement those skills within the classroom for student achievement .
15. Uses Based upon the data from the previous slide: Trends – The teaching and learning area has remained consistent for the past 3 years. This is something that should be looked at by administration. Infrastructure for Technology has slowly been going up. With more money and resources this area could either continue up or slide down. Teaching and Learning, along with Leadership, Administration and Instructional Support have been up and down. It’s possible that teachers haven’t had enough professional development time or are struggling to learn the new ins & outs of technology.
16. Why we have it? Technology is crucial in the 21st century of teaching and learning. Students love technology and we need to become more aware of benefits for our students. If we have the tools to make it work then we need to see what results can come form it!
