1. The Kvarnby school
This is our work about how it is to go on the Kvarnby school as an student and as a teacher.
2. Subjects
• Swedish. Swedish is the language we speak in sweden. Its also the first thing we start with in our
schools.In Swedish class we learn grammatic and how to spell words and sentens.
• Math. We also start with math rather early. In the beginning we learn the numbers and simple methods
how to count. Now in year seven we work with problem solving.
• English. We start to learn English at third grade in the beginning we learn the numbers and the colors.
We also learn some simple words like hello, good bye, dog, cat etc. now in seventh grade we write
down texts like this one and do more complicated works.
• Chemistry. We started with chemistry in seventh grade. Its a subject where we learn about atoms and
matter. Sometimes we do experiments when we do it it is pretty funny.
• P.E. P.E is also one of the first subjects we start with. In the beginning we just play and don’t do
anything special. Now in seventh grade we do orientating, gymnastics, ball sports etc.
• Music. We started with music very early in the beginning we sang songs in group. Later we started to
play instruments and sang songs along the instrument play.
• Social knowledge. In social knowledge we work with history, geographies, religion and Social. In
history we have worked with mans beginning, Mesopotamian, Greeks and Rome. And in religion we
have worked with the beginning of the Christianity. And we have not worked with geographies and
social yet. But we should do it soon.
• Technical study. In the technical we have painted a plan of our room when we had done it we had to
build our room in paper it turned out to a cool model.
3. A normal day at Kvarnby
I go to school wich takes like 10-30 minutes. I take the often the bus. I go to my
cabinet and I look at what lesson ive. I start at 8:10.
Ive often 2 or three lessons before lunch. After these lessons I go to to the house
wich is outisde and only takes 5 seconds to go til. I eat my lunch and after the lunch
Ive got break. It often depens on what day it is but the lunchbreak can be from 40
minutes to 2 hours. Sometimes some lessons can get cancelled too so you never
really know until the last minute. But after the
break Ive to go back to my lessons ive after. And we end often at 2 oclock or 3
ocloc

16. ”Bamba”
Our dining room is called ”Bamba” here in ghotenburg sweden.
Here in Sweden we get free food in schools, which is good because then
we willnot have to take with us food and get hot cooked food instead
of sandwiches.
In thedining room there is always milk, water and crispbread.
But there are also differenttypes
of salads.
We usually get food like soups, stews, and fish.
But we also haveother options for people who can not eat it for various
reasons.
17. The Swedish school system
In Sweden we start school at age 6. Until high school have school obligations,
butafter it is optional but if you don´t continue it can be difficult to get a job.
The mostpeople goes secendory school.
We just got a new grading system, highest rating is A,then B, C and D,
the final approved is E then F for known and stretch is if you havenot been to
enough classes.

school with my stuffed animals.

Yes it was called three school with 2 floors and six classrooms

I do not eat the food in bamba

20. The school began 1923rd and was completed March 4, 1924 when it started
to be in use 1925.
It was a big opening party for the school. At that time the name was Kvarnbyskolan
Central School. The Central School, there were 22 rooms, a teachers' room,
a materialrum, 4 sloyd classrooms for boys and four for girls, two school kitchens, two
gymnasium and a school bath. Anyone who does not shower or bath at home they
could come to the school during the floor because there was a pool.
There could be a wash.
Where did all skolaor in the vicinities of their swimming test. Since there was
no need for a large bathhouse, Åbysimhall. During the summer, when all the children
had summer school so one wanders home.
During World War II, used the school as a hospital for Jews who had been
sitting in a konsentrationsläger in Germany.The school looks almost the same as
20 years ago, except that there are whiteboards and projectors all students have
received one computer.
