2. Anju Bobby George
25 year-old Anju Bobby George created history in August this
year when she won a bronze medal in the long jump event of
the World Athletic Championships at Paris. She thus became
the first Indian to win a medal in athletics at any world event.

Indian to win the World Snooker Championship, in Jiangmen,
China in October.

proud to be the first Indian on the PGA Tour and,
hopefully, this will provide a big boost to the gam
