What Respecting Each Other means ?
Respect for others is the basis of the good relationships and
attachments that are so fundamentally important to a
child’s healthy development. It also highlights that this
quality must be evident in all relationships within a setting
if everyone is to work well together.
Respect is dependent on recognition that not everyone is
the same, thinks the same, or reacts and does things in the
same ways.
Why respecting each other is important?
Children also learn about other people through their
relationships. Through their interactions children become
aware that others may have different needs, feelings and
ideas from their own and they begin to respond to these,
For Ex:- hugging someone who has fallen. These insights
can stimulate them to reflect on their own feelings.

Festivals Celebrated and Upcoming
Celebrations
Celebration of Dusherra & Bakrid Festivals in School on
Oct 23 rd:
We celebrated Dussehra festival in Esperanza with great
fervor. The tiny tots attired in colourful costumes were
looking gorgeous. Teachers excitedly enacted the various
scenes from lord Rama’ s life i.e. Rama janam , Sita
swayamwar , Sita haran and Rama Ravana yudh etc. They
also danced on the tunes of religious songs. The motive
behind this was to widen the mind and the spirit of the
students. Such type of celebrations organized frequently to
acquaint the young minds with cultural and traditional
aspects of their life. Teachers emphasized the kids to
follow the path showed by lord Rama as truth always wins
over evil.
There are various festivals in the Muslim calendar. But
Bakrid or Id-ul-Zuha is one of the most celebrated festivals
among Muslims all over the world. It is a day of sacrifice
for the Muslims. Teacher narrated the story of sacrifice,
besides they listened to songs and also worshipped god to
mark the celebration.

Diwali Celebration on Nov 12/2012:
Diwali is the festival of lights that enlightens the hearts and
brings joy to every heart.
D” is for “Diya” (how Diwali/Deepavali means “row of lights”
and how people place rows of diyas in their homes and
courtyards to dispell darkness; “I” is for “Inner Light” (how
Diwali is in essence a celebration of the inner light – the
goodness – in all of us; “W” is for “Worship” (how Hindus
worship Ganesha and Lakshmi for good fortune and
prosperity, and also how different groups in India observe
the holiday – Sikhs (Bandhi Chorh Diwas), Jains and
Bengalis); A” is for “Art” (how rangoli, paper lanterns and
children’s crafts are popular activities); “L” is for “Legends”
(how there are different legends associated with Diwali –
Rama’s homecoming, Krishna/Narakasura, etc.); and “I” is
for “International” (how Diwali is actually celebrated all over
the world – the UK, USA, Australia, Thailand, Malayasia,
Africa, etc. – which helps kids understand the true globalism
of this holiday).
Children’s Day Celebration on Nov 14/2012:
Children are God's gift! And childhood is all about innocence
and liveliness. It is about happiness and freedom. However,

Importance of Parents............in a Child’s
Life.
Many people such as teachers, friends and parents in life of any
person have an important influence.
They play an important role in everybody's life, but among
them parents have the most important effect on their future.
Parents show their children how to live. In childhood, children
cannot face troubles and parents show them how to conquer
problems. Parents keep away them from danger and warn them.
Beside of these they support their children with no expectation.
Parents should know how to communicate with their children.
Their children must trust on them and this is not possible
without a friendly relationship. Parents should share their
thought with their children and allow them to decide in
troubles. In conclusion, in everybody's life a lot of people are
influenced but among them the role of parents is significant
than others. They teach their children how to live and face
problems. They support them and keep away from danger and
they do all of this with no expectation.
General Health and Dental Check-up were conducted on
22nd October. Screening of general health was conducted by Dr.
Srinivas, Oncologist at Yashoda Hospitals and Dental check up
by Dr. Kalyani.
Health Cards were sent home along with the kids.

From the Director’s Desk
The past month was a very fast moving one. We had a lot
of celebrations, Dusheera, Bakrid, and Farm Fest. All our
kids enjoyed being part of the celebrations. We do hope
that they come and share all the school information with
the parents. Please make it a point to check with your child
as to what is happening at school. As we continue to work
on building the self-esteem of each child and offering
guidance to help them learn about themselves better, we
would encourage that you do the same at home as well.
Please do not use any negative disciplining techniques or
spanking to get the child’s attention. In the long run they
will affect the self-esteem of the child very badly. Also, we
have a field trip to an Orphanage or a Homeless Shelter
and a visit to the Zoo in this month. We will be sending
out more information about the field trip here soon.
If any of you need holiday care please do let us know
ahead of time so that we can allocate the required
resources to take care of your child.
If you have any feedback, suggestions, concerns always
feel free to e-mail me at
anu.vadlani@esperanzacorporate.com.
Yours Sincerely
AnuVadlani
