2. Clean Roomba Brushes Frequently
When you buy an iRobot Roomba you will also get a cleaning tool to keep
Roomba’s brushes free of hair, debris and other particles.
For best performance, it is recommended to clean the Roomba brushes every 2-3
cleaning cycles.
If you have pets at home, get your Roomba brushes cleaned after every cleaning
cycle.
3. Clean Roomba Filter after Every Use
The purpose of the filter is to keep the Roomba’s vacuuming system free from
debris. Maximum vacuum power can be achieved only by keeping the filter clean.
Make sure that you clean the Roomba filter every time you empty the bin.
4. Store Roomba with the Power Adapter
Plugged In
For optimal performance and prolonged battery life, always store your Roomba
with the power adapter plugged in. By doing so, your Roomba will automatically
receive trickle charge that will pave way for increased battery life.
5. Avoid Congested Spaces
Only use your Roomba in spaces that are twice its size. Otherwise, it may get stuck
causing damage to your Roomba.
6. Empty Your Roomba Regularly
Don’t forget to empty your Roomba when it is full. If your Roomba is full and if you
don’t empty it, then your iRobot has to work harder and it will not clean
efficiently.
7. Maximize the Battery Life
Depending on how often you use your Roomba, charge it accordingly. If you do not
use it for a few weeks, then keep the battery out of the unit and recharge when
needed.
If you have larger rooms or if you use your Roomba frequently, leave it on charge
once your cleaning is done and let the charger trickle charge the unit.
