*Note: Every bolded set of words will act as a link. The unbolded words are descriptions of what the link
will lead to. Each Sector home page (as in Station, Programming, Production) will outline the contents
of the sector similarly to how I have laid it out, but not with roman numerals and stuff.

Note 2: It’s probably best if this website was done piece by piece, in sort of a linear order, you know
what I mean? First establish the homepage with the links to the side, then we’ll do about, then contacts,
then work and its subpages then to programming and so on.

Note 3: Only the main sector titles (1. Station, 2. Programming) and the letters one rank below them (a,
b, c) should appear in the left navigation bar.

                                              NAVIGATION

BTV HOME PAGE: should be a bit like the Phoenix. Have one of your logos as the flag for now. Not right
now, but after this Sunday, I’d like you to try some more logo ideas. I like the ones you gave so far, but
we need more options, more styles to choose from.

    1. Station Management

            a. About: history, vision, and mission of BTV

            b. Contacts: Contact information for all departments.

            c. Work for BTV: all the below will have descriptions next to them, with the bold linked to
an online application. Some kind of graphic should be included. So the “Work For
Management” bolded text will, on the page design, have a description of management
beside it, and not link to a description of management. Rather, the bolded text will lead
to the online application itself and again, not a description of management. These
applications should be emailed to the senior executive board, which is Joe, Jad, Dave,
and myself. Mention that applications are reviewed every Sunday.

                     i. Work for Management: description of Management

ii. Work for Programming: description of Programming

iii. Work for Production: description of Production

                            1. Production Outreach: description

                            2. Technical Team: description

    2. Programming

            a. Student-Produced: have 2 or 3 sample videos embedded on one of the following pages,
so I can see how it looks with multiple videos. Each page should have a provisional title.
i. Films

               ii. Series

       b. Campus Events

                i. Entertainment

               ii. Lectures

               iii. News (one day!)

       c. BTV Retro

       d. Classics (public domain)

       e. Featured Programming

       f. Submit Programming To BTV

                i. Herein lies an online Exhibition proposal form, which we must update, as well as
the procedures for submitting completed productions.

ii. Idea Box: herein members can propose their ideas for shows, sitcoms, short
films, etc, so that people who want to make things can pick out of them.

3. Production: For Prospective Producers

       a. Outreach

                i. Let us record your event!

                       1. contact info for the University Outreach Coordinators, and maybe even
a box where they can directly let BTV know about events going on.

       b. Rental

                       1. Equipment Info

                               a. Breakdown, pictures and specs of all major equipment we are
renting out by type of equipment, so it would be divided by
                                  camera, lighting, sound, etc.

                       2. Rental Form

                               a. Rental Procedure
b. Online Rental Form: ideally, and we can talk more about this
later, this page could also have a calendar on it where people
could check availability of the equipment, so they could sign up
for specific hours. Then when they made their request it would
be sent to the technical director, who would look it over and
                           approve or deny the request.

                                i. Rental request

                                ii. Rental agreement (liability)

              3. Training Sessions

                        a. Information regarding such. Like hours, instructors, and so on.

c. Filmmakers Resource Center

       i. Talent Databases: and maybe this can even be more like a search engine. You
can check off bubbles like “actress” and “female” (which is redundant, but
whatever) so you can narrow your search according to exactly what you want.

              1. Actors/Actresses

              2. Directors

              3. Cinematographers

              4. Producers

              5. Etc.

       ii. FRC Filmmaker Guides

              1. Lighting- wherein lie pdfs of our packets and links to external sources

              2. Sound

              3. Cinematography

      iii. On-Campus resources

              1. PASS Programs

              2. Media Services

              3. MCM Website

              4. RISD Film Website
5. Add yourself to a listserv (many herein)

                  iv. Off-campus resources

                             1. Rhode Island Film Collaborative

                             3. Craigslist

                      v. Post Current Projects (this should probably also go on a news feed on the BTV
                         home page)
