average PC.
• So anytime you play a simple
(say addictive) flash game on the Net then
that is Cloud Computing, my friend!

• According to Wikipedia, the key
characteristic of Cloud Computing is
that the computing is in “the cloud” i.e.
the processing (& the related data) is
not in a specified or known state/place.

Basically Cloud Computing is Internet based computing whereby
shared servers provide the resources, software and data to computers
and other devices on demand.

• The increasing coverage of cloud
computing as the new model for IT
owes much to the rapid investment for
some of the world’s most recognizable
companies. Google, Amazon and
Microsoft have all been investing
millions into their own cloud service
ventures. As the late Steve Jobs rightly
put it ”Cloud computing is the future!”
