The Internet of Things is dramatically expanding the number of devices that can be attacked, as more everyday objects become connected to the internet and each other. This creates new security challenges, as vulnerabilities in one device could allow access to entire networks and compromise personal user data across multiple systems. Security needs to be built into the design of IoT technologies from the start to ensure user privacy and protect against the growing threat of hacks and data breaches in an increasingly connected world.
