3. Mission Statement:
“The African American Art and Culture Complex (AAACC) is a
community based, 501(c)3 arts and cultural organization. Our
mission is to empower our community through Afro-centric artistic
and cultural expression, mediums, education and programming.
We are dedicated to inspiring children and youth to serve as agents of
change, cultivating their leadership skills and fostering a
commitment to community service and activism. In addition, we
encourage, support and promote the work of young, aspiring Bay
Area artists. We also strive to develop partnerships with
organizations that are similarly committed to our mission, and offer
our space to the community for special events.”

8. Tenant/Parking Permit Files
•AAACC provides rental space for
visual arts organizations that are
also 501 (c) (3) and have a similar
mission statement. The rent is
purposefully kept low to allow
these organizations to grow and
expand within the community.
• AAACC also provides parking for
those within the community at a
low cost as well. Monthly parking
costs $ and anyone is able to
apply for a space.
• My objective was to update all
files, this included the creation of a
rent payment log system and also
making sure all information
(insurance, program plans, etc)
was current. This will make the
auditing process and rental
system overall more accurate for
the AAACC.

9. Employee Request Forms
Forms Included: Why Important?
 Check & Credit Card Request  Provides uniformity and
 Reimbursement Request consistency for executive director
 Vacation Request and employees.
 Contract Laborer Request for  Allows documentation to be more

 Implements rules more efficiently.

 Contact Zipcar and speak with  Easy way to create income for
