Significance of Acceptable Use Policies The Northside Independent School District AUP

Home Page The home page describes the importance of technology in today’s world. Discusses personal responsibility Discusses how students, staff, and parents may best use the internet and other technologies
Policies/Regs 4 NISD Board Policies are Listed 7 NISD Administrative Regulations are Listed Links to each policy and regulation are provided
Forms Forms are provided for the following groups Students Staff Substitute teachers Non- District Personnel Forms are provided in both English and Spanish A Link is provided to access each form
Internet safety Provides links to safety resources Provides links to digital citizenship Surf safely on the Internet
Conclusions The NorthsideIndedpendent School District (NISD)AUP is significantly more detailed than the Boerne ISD (BISD)AUP. The NISD AUP is available by links to the appropriate website and is available in both English and Spanish. It is also more difficult to completely understand. The information is spread out over multiple websites, rather than being a one page document that is easily understood.

The NISD AUP is available by links to the appropriate website and is available in both English and Spanish. It is also more difficult to completely understand. The information is spread out over multiple websites, rather than being a one page document that is easily understood.
