3. Google Glass is an augmented reality wearable
computer with a Head-Mounted Display(HMD) that
is being developed by Google in the Project Glass.
It is the idea the computer and internet will be
accessible anywhere at any time without having to
use one hand’s.
Google Glass is the equivalent of a Smartphone.

5. The Glass project was started "about three years
ago" by an engineer named Babak Parviz .
Glass is being developed by Google X Lab.
Google Glass displays information in a smartphone-
like format hands- free. It can interact with the
Internet via natural language voice commands and
uses Google's Android operating system.

The quality of pictures and video are usable for
healthcare education, reference, and remote
consultation.
Tele-consultation is possible—depending on the
available bandwidth—during operative procedures.
A stabilizer should be added to the video function to
prevent choppy transmission when a surgeon looks
to screens or colleagues.
Battery life can be easily extended with the use of
an external battery.
