4. My Synopsis
My idea for a thriller is about a teenager that gets caught up
in the drugs game. After being a user from the age of 15 he
decides to become a dealer for a high up drug lord. After a
series of police encounters and near death experiences he
decides he wants out but he discovers it isn’t that easy.
Unfortunately it ends with his death.
In the opening I would like his death to be shown but
without showing the audience that it is him. This will make
the audience wonder the whole way through the film who it
was, without them realising it was the main character. The
death is set along a small river in the countryside, with his
possessions floating down stream shown by close ups and
the setting shown using establishing shots.
