11. 4D Seismic Imaging
4D with zero time­lapse, meaning no production­induced
subsurface change, is a repeatability study.

12. Advanced 3D Seismic Interpretation
3D seismic interpretation which relies on the use of 3D
surveys which provide visualizations of structures in
three dimensions.

13. 2D Seismic
This is the oldest type of seismic, and is called “2D” seismic,
because the image has an x and y dimension, but no z
dimension.
