now with LinkedIn.
I have suggested some measures for your own
profile as well as your companies, but please
feel free to add others.
There are also instructions on how to find out
the relevant number from LinkedIn.
Measuring Success
If you don’t score on one or more measure, or
don’t know what one of the measures is, e.g.
bit.ly links, don’t worry.

We will be implementing these measures with
you as we go through the course. They are
present now just for completeness.

similar companies. Measure the gap between you as a percentage of the highest value.

• How fast is my network growing (new
  people)?
• Look on the right margin of your home page or
  profile to find out:
Who’s finding me?
• How many people have viewed my profile?
• How many times have I shown up in search
  results?
• Look on the right margin of your home page or

Who’s talking about me?
• How many recommendations do I have on my
  profile?
• In “EDIT PROFILE” you see your TRUE total
  number of recommendations:

• In “VIEW PROFILE” you see you’re the number
  of recommendations you have chosen to
  display:

• How many people follow your Company
  Profile on LinkedIn?
• Search for your Company:
• Click the arrow next to
  the search bar.
• Choose “Companies”
• Type your company name
  into the search box.

  • 2. Measuring Success Let’s start by taking a snapshot of where you are now with LinkedIn. I have suggested some measures for your own profile as well as your companies, but please feel free to add others. There are also instructions on how to find out the relevant number from LinkedIn.
