Year 10 Multimedia: 21 Feb 2013

During the course of these two lessons (Thursday) I’ll be collecting your first assignment. Please
have it saved as your name so I can transfer it to a USB and know to whom it belongs.

Your task today:

You are going to take a quick film, and import the film into iMovie.

Before starting: check image settings (p86-87) & video settings (p181). Videos should be shot in
1920 & 25 fps

   1) Take a video, ensuring your video includes a pan (moving shot) and a change of focus. We
are testing how quick the autofocus works, and whether you can hear the autofocus motor
      on the video.
   2) Take a series of stills using the creative auto settings (see page 64-65). Your need to have
the same subject, but by changing the settings discover how the images turn out
   3) Take a series of stills using “ambience selection” (page 76). As above, keep the subject the
      same but change the settings.
   4) Import your photos (not videos) into iPhoto
   5) Import your videos into iMovie
   6) Create a very short film using iMovie’s built in themes.
