regarding including the insurance sector within the jurisdiction of the Human Resource Develop-
ment Committee in the banking and finance sector, in order to support the plans and policies of
Emiratization in the insurance sector, the HRDC works in close collaboration with the Emirates
Institute for Banking and Financial Studies.
At the same time EIBFS collaborates with the Insurance Authority, Emirates Insurance Association
and the insurance companies to develop an annual plan for developing human resources in the
insurance sector. The annual plan includes a number of activities such as training and educational
programs, workshops and seminars, research and studies, and follow up of emiratization percentage through the development
of a database for indicators of emiratization in the insurance sector.

their employees to join those programs in order to enhance their knowledge and skills.
