• Checking the safety equipment, ensuring the aircraft is clean and tidy
• Informing the passengers of the aircraft safety procedures and taking
them through the procedure in the event of an emergency
• Ensuring that all hand luggage is securely stored away safely
• Giving first aid to passengers where necessary
• Serving meals and drinks to the passengers throughout the flight and
preferably with a smile
• Ensuring passengers have a pleasant trip by responding to their every
need
• Ushering in and welcoming (with a smile) passengers as they board the
plane
• Selling on board duty free products to willing passengers
• Working closely with the pilots - acting as a liasion between the pilot and
passengers
