4. Change in Effective Date
• New effective date – October 1, 2014 (SBE
approved in February)
• Summer 2014 graduates/completers will
continue to take current Praxis II exams.
5. NC Pilot
• DPI purchased 100 test registration codes
that will be distributed to IHEs across the
state in mid February.
• The codes are being distributed based on
Fall 2014 completer estimates provided by
IHEs to ensure a cross section of the state
is included when reviewing data for the
standard setting process.
