Ovulation LH test….how do I time it? PLEASE ANSWER?
I am TTC and just bought a bunch of ovulation test from earlypregnancytest.com. For anyone
who has used these, what is the best way? From what I understand….when it shows positive I
should have sex 24 hours later. So that means if it shows positive in the morning….I shouldn’t
have sex that day right? Please explain in detail…..Also, should I test twice a day?

My best results with those tests (2 healthy babies using ovulation kits!) was to try to conceive
right before the surge. You will note that there is a slight increase in the level before the
“surge.” Then go for it! The egg only lives a little while, so my plan was to have company
waiting! I had a son and a daughter this way. When I waited until the kit detected the surge, I
did not conceive. Good luck!!

Does an ovulation predictor test-LH predict pregnancy???
I think I’m pregnant and I wanted to take a test to find out.somebody gave me an ovulation
predictor test-LH and I don’t understand the results. I want to know what the results mean and
what exactly is a ovulation test lh, and does it predict pregnancy? Or do I need to just buy a
regular test?

They *can*, but it’s better to get a regular pregnancy test.

opk…basically, for an opk to be positive, the test line has to be as dark or darker than the control
line. If it is lighter, it’s negative.

3. LH or No LH? Ovulation Test Kits?
Hi! I am really confused with my ovulation test kit. yesterday morning i tested positive, then this
morning i tested positive again, but this afternoon i was negative. i tested twice to make sure but
it was still negative. what does this mean? will i ovulate or not? sorry i really don’t understand
what’s going on..

Once you get the 1st positive there is no need to test again..you should ovulate within 12-36
hours of the first positive..Good luck!

Ouch this Hurts! Is it Ovulation, but – LH Test?
I am suppose to ovulate on 2-13-08. I have had a somewhat sharp pain on my right side. It is
really low….. by my uterus. It has been bugging me all day. It is not a really bad pain, but a dull
one that almost feels like cramping. I took a ovulation test today and it was a negative. It was

4. darker than the other negatives I had in the past few days, but just a little darker. Am I ovulating
now, or is this a sign of getting ready to ovulate? I thought that once you feel the pain you have
ovulated?

You are probably going to ovulate in the next few days. Ovulation cramping (mettleschmerz
sp?) usually occurs a day or two before you actually ovulate, when the egg is still ripening. My
ovulation pain and LH+ test occured at the same time and I ovulated the next day (about 36
hours later) but that’s not saying that yours will match up. Keep taking the LH tests but there’s
no reason not to babydance in the meantime, just to make sure you don’t miss your ovulation.
You are really just as fertile in the days leading up to ovulation as you are on the day you
ovulate, because the egg can only be fertilized for 6-12 hours and then it is a dud! You want the
sperm to be there waiting to fertilize the egg when you ovulate. Good luck!

Why did I have positive ovulation (LH surge) tests everyday for a
week?
hello, I have been trying to get pregnant for about a year. my dr. suggested I use ovulation
predictor kits to know exactly when I am most fertile. this month the test showed positive every
day for 6 days! is this normal? in the past it has just been positive for one or two days. do you
think this can hurt my chances of conceiving a pregnancy?

Your LH surge is a somewhat brief event, typically lasting between 48-50 hours from start to
finish. You may even be able to get a positive read out on your LH surge test for 2 days after
the first original positive test you had. As far as 6 I am unfamiliar with this, but as far as it hurting
your chances for conceiving, I don’t see that being a problem. Good luck and baby dust to you.
