George asks…
someone know the bus can directly from Singapore to Johor
Bahru Airp?
Kaki Cuti Cuti Malaysia answers:
No direct bus to Senai Airport in Johor except for taxis.
Buses:
Take a MRT to Kranji MRT station and take SBS 170/160 to the border;
Pass Singapore immigration and get back on either bus;
Pass Malaysian immigration and select SBS 170 to Kotaraya (not Larkin bus stop);
Head to the airport bus terminal and pay RM8 for a ride to Senai airport. Bus leaves every hour
in the morning;
Cabs:
Some cabs from Queens Street charges approx SGD50-65 for a ride straight to Senai airport.
Search online for some cab contacts.
That’s the fun heading to Senai!

3. How long(time) does it take go to Johor Barhu rly stn from
Clementi,Singapore?
Including immigration facilities processing how long does it take to get to Johor Bahru rly stn
from Clementi in Singapore by road (bus/cab)
Kaki Cuti Cuti Malaysia answers:
Take a train to Jurong East Interchange. Then take the yellow bus at the bus interchange. You
can see it when you take the escalator down to the bus interchange. Then it would take you
about 20 to 30 min. The first bus starts at 7:30, then every 30min come once. Take 10 min to
get thru custom and then 10 min to get to the rly station
Susan asks…
What part of Malaysia can you go to on a daytrip from Singapore?
My friends and I are going to Singapore for a week in Feb and we wanted to know if it is
possible to get a side trip to Malaysia from there. What part of Malaysia can we go to for a
daytrip and how do we get there? Also, how long is the travel time? I heard you can go to Johor
bahru by bus but I’m not sure of the cost and the travel time.

Hi, assuming you leaves for Malaysia early and wants to get back to your Singapore hotel by
night, it will be most practical to settle for Johor Bahru.
Johor is popular with Singaporeans for its cheaper food and daily produces (not so much for
imported goods like fashion and electronics, cheaper in S’pore). To get to Johor by public
transport, takes a MRT train to Kranji Station. Follow signs from there to the bus stop for buses
into Johor.
Alternatively, take a cab from your hotel to Woodlands Checkpoint. (cab will not be able to enter
Malaysia though)
If you have at least 2D1N to share, then malacca (approx. 3 hrs by coach), capital Kuala
Lumpur (5 hrs) and Genting Highlands (6hrs) are within your reach.
Richard asks…
How to go to Malacca from Singapore?
Buses are filled up so can you share with me some alternatives going to Malacca? If i go to
johor bahru, are there buses waiting there going to Malacca? Need your help. thanks!

5. Kaki Cuti Cuti Malaysia answers:
If all the above methods do not help you, then you may want to consider hiring a taxi to go to
Malacca. I am assuming that you do not drive nor have access to a car. In which case, you
could go to the Bugis area in Singapore where you may get to hire a Malaysian registered taxi
to bring you to Malacca or go into JB and hire one from there. To get to JB from Singapore is
relatively easy. Public tranport (bus) us readily available.
Hope this helps.
