2. In the opening scene. It starts with narration. Which is a good effect
because w don't see whose talking, we just see some action and has
explaining what's happening and these are examples. As me moves on
from “cops and robbers” to LSD and hippies. There is a clever camera shot
in which the camera moves past the woman's hair and it changes from hers
to the hippies.
3. Another clever effect is when the woman's legs in the hippie shot walks
past the camera. The camera follows. The woman legs disappear and then a
prison officer walks past, its clear we're left the hippies and are now in
prison. The camera pans past a lot of arrested people eating.
4. The examples of what he's saying and the narrator himself come together
when one of the prisons people says what he says “we’re in the wrong
f@#king game” the camera slows down over this guy when he speaks but
again moves on. The camera then moves past a dark wall and we are no
longer in a prison we are in some sort of....
5. ...chemist selling what seems like branded drugs. The camera moves slowly
so we a re able to see what each of the products says. We can see the fcuk
logo and what the drug is. Cocaine, ecstasy etc.
6. The a pan shot extends as we move past what could be a shelf and then the
narrator appears. He looks like he is looking at all the drugs in awe because
there is a lot of them and emphasises that this film will be about drugs.
7. The final effect is when all these drugs change to a normal pharmacy. Its
clever how it changes the same pace behind the main character. It also
shows us this is again an example of what the narrator is saying. But also
that it is in his mind. And that its somehow his dream.
