Coaching for CPRE of IREB
Dear Aspirant of BA and RE
I conduct Business Analysis or Requirements Engineering sessions over
Skype. If you are preparing for CPRE of IREB I would be glad to provide
inputs and guidance.
Get the official BOK and study. It has many errors, some very serious but it
is a good reference for the content.
CPRE is for practicing and experienced professionals---NOT for
beginners. Even if you know all the topics of 9 chapters well enough it will
take one to two months of intense preparation (2 to 4 hours a day) and
review of examples / cases (which I provide). CPRE is not a test of
memory. The aspirant needs to have good memory of all the definitions,
principles, solutions etc., but that is NOT tested at all. Ability to apply the
principles and reason are tested (every question is deep and probing.
Answers are not easy to find. That is what is great about CPRE of IREB.
Please see the Procedure for Preparing for CPRE Examination
If it suits you and a few others who are similarly placed form a study
circle to prepare & master RE---then it is not too tough to be CPRE.

Procedure for Preparing for CPRE Exam of IREB
AA: Please select the topic within the 9 chapters of IREB official Book of
Knowledge and specify the sub-topics in which you think you will be able to
answer quiz questions.
BB: Select some questions from sample IREB exam and answer the questions
on the topic giving reasons for your selection of options and non-
selection of options
CC: I will discuss BB and arrive at the correct answers with correct
reasoning.
DD: Later I will send you a set of questions and options. You answer the
quiz giving reasons for the selection and non-selection of options.
EE: It is important to master the basis for selection of options and non-
selection of options. Then we will get into our own Q and A and master each
chapter.
This will take time and you have to put in a lot of study / analysis and
work on mini projects / cases from your work or other publications.
This can be applied for any other examination of CPRE Standard.
