work and LIFE IN SCHOOL  We accept education as a priorit y activity which determines future economic, civilian development and existential standard. We know how important it is, for a young person, to be conscious of the fact that by getting good carrier s /he gets position in the society which helps h er /h im to insure their existence and educational and professional development . However , educational and professional development don’t stop by getting the first carrier . Just because of this fact we want prepare young people to takeover their responsibility in independent acquiring knowledge, which will stimulate their initiative, their individual and flexible future professional development.  We should follow the obligatory part of national curriculum, just like public schools, which is determined by the Ministry.  But what makes INOVA different are Private Economics High School INOVA

working methods and STUDENTS DISENCUMBRANCE... What does it mean? How to disencumber students and keep the same quality of knowledge and competence? First – students and teachers are now more engaged in the proces s of program planning . Students, when they define their own educational plan and practice , have active role , a nd they build their motivation Second – to make such work possible teachers cooperate too, they plan as a team and connect the contents within 3 main teaching areas :  social - linguistic area : languages , history , et hics , religion , physical training , civic education  scientific area : geography , math , chemistry , biolog y , te c hnolog y, e c olog y , informatics  vocational area : economic subjects Private Economics High School INOVA
Privatna srednja ekonomska škola INOVA s pravom javnosti What do teachers do in?  social - linguistic  scientific  vocational area? ... working methods and STUDENTS DISENCUMBRANCE ...  At the beginning of school year teachers make their planning together for certain areas to avoid unnecessary repeating what really disencumber students and subjects . It is particularly important in vocational area because teachers find more time for exercises and working on "case studies" . Private Economics High School INOVA
... working methods and STUDENTS DISENCUMBRANCE Using active teaching styles INOVA brings European standard s in education .  In the process of teaching and learning , student and teacher are always directed to each other : student solves working problem s – tasks – by practical use of knowledge and teacher guides him using different teaching styles (individual and gr o up work in various forms : pair work, mixed groups ; using direct teaching , learning by experience , researching , simulation , cooperative learning, project works ).  In “case studies” student can use set of instruments from real life : he learns about complete way from building entrepreneurial idea to its realization in business life, he analyzes real business situations, uses original papers and forms . Teachers simulate business situations from real life , they use original forms, visit notary public, commercial court , Exchange market , bank , fairs etc . Students learn cooperatively , not just from books , but more through practical works and independent projects . Private Economics High School INOVA
