Photo upload
1. UYSA Photo Upload Requirements
You are being required to upload a recent photo that meets the requirements listed below. The photo
will print on your UYSA Team Game Day Roster, UYSA sanctioned tournament roster and/or a player
card required for an out of state tournament. You will not be allowed to play until the photo is
uploaded.
UYSA Photo Requirements
• Your photo must be a clear image of you - and only you - against a plain background.
• You must be facing the camera.
• You cannot wear dark glasses or a hat.
• You must upload a JPG or JPEG file.
• Maximum file size is 512 KB, (this is less than a MB.)
• Minimum photo size if you scan your file is passport size (2 x 2 inches or larger.)
• Photo should be 100 x 120 pixels
• If you have scanned your photo, crop the image to remove any extra background or white space
before you upload it.
• See page 2 of this document for instructions on how to upload.

2. How-To Upload a photo
• Goto www.utahyouthsoccer.net
• Click on “Member Login” in the upper right hand corner of the screen
• Enter your UYSA Username & Password. If you do not remember what this is you may contact -

• This should pull up your “My Account” page. If not, click on “My Account in the gray box on the left.
• Under the purple header labelled “Family Members, find the name of the player and click on “edit”
next to their name.
• This will pull up the “Player Detail.”
• Click on the box that looks like this
• A pop-up box will have you select the location on your hard drive where the digital photo is stored.
If this box does not appear, make sure your pop-up blocker is turned off.
• Search for the file. Click on the file. Click “Upload.”
• Sometimes it takes a few minutes for the photo to upload. Be patient.
• Once the photo is uploaded, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Save Changes.”
• If the photo doesn’t upload, you should get an error message saying that the file was too large or
not the right format. For technical support, please contact Affinity at the number listed above or
submit a “Help Ticket” at this link -

Remember
~ Your player/s will NOT be allowed to play a tournament or Spring 2013 game until this profile photo
is uploaded. Do not wait until the last minute to do this. ~
