The primary mission of the Cancer Research and Prevention Foundation is to support state-of-the-art research in cancer prevention. The Tracy's Kids program cannot prevent cancer, but our goal is to ensure that each child is emotionally equipped to fight the disease as actively as possible and prepare for the time that he or she is cancer free.
2. Kids with cancer are normal kids, They just have to deal with some hard stuff.
3. It doesn’t happen very often. You probably won’t ever get seriously ill, so don’t worry if you get sick. Most of the time, people’s bodies can get well again very fast.
4. Sometimes people need extra help and a long time to get well. That’s where Art Therapy comes in! While our kids get treatment, they spend a lot of time at the clinic and hospital.
5. As you can imagine, the kids have a lot of feelings about all that!
6. They miss a lot of school, sports, and being with their friends!
