Women and Industrial Relations
We would like to offer your organisation the opportunity to sponsor the 2010 Our
Work Our Lives Conference. This event will be held on August 12th and 13th at the
world-class Darwin Convention Centre. This national conference will be attended by
academics, government agencies, Unions, HR and IR practitioners, not-for-profit
organisations, and students.
The conference will be hosted by the NT Working Women’s Centre and the
University of Western Australia. The theme is Women and Industrial Relations; at this
stage our confirmed keynote speaker is Professor Marian Baird from the University of
Sydney.
The NTWWC provides a free and confidential service to women on workplace issues
including industrial relations and anti discrimination advice, community education, &
information resources. The Centre is a not-for profit, government funded service that
operates through a strong support and referral network established across
Government, non-Government, women’s and community sectors. The Centre targets
indigenous women, women from CALD backgrounds, and rural and regional women
through workshops and community liaison.

3. FURTHER INFORMATION ON SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Platinum $8,000
• Public Acknowledgement: Your organisation/company will be acknowledged as the
Platinum Sponsor during the opening and closing speeches, and at the Sunset Drinks
Event.
• Direct Access: A representative of your organization/company will be offered an
opportunity to deliver a short address to the audience at the Sunset Drinks Event.
• Marketing: Your company/organization logo will be displayed on the OWOL Website,
