4. Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.

5. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever! (1 Corinthians 13:4-8, NLT)

9. Love is: Patient, Kind, Rejoices in the truth, Protects, Trusts, Hopes, Perseveres, Never fails.

10. "When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. Now, no one is likely to die for a good person, though someone might be willing to die for a person who is especially good.

11. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners." (Romans 5:6-8, NLT)

12. Lord, I am a sinner. My life does not reflect yours. Too often I am… Envious. Boastful. Proud. Rude. I think only of myself. I am easily angered.

13. I hold onto grudges. I delight when bad things happen to people who have hurt me. Forgive me Lord. By the power of your Holy Spirit, renew in me a new heartSo that what flows through me is extraordinary love…

14. Love which is… Patient. Kind. Rejoices in the truth. Protects. Trusts. Hopes. Perseveres. A love which never fails. Amen.
