It uses dark colours of black and purple with the lightning
effect which makes it stand out from the rest of the
cover. This effect relates to my genre of rock and will
attract my audience of young girl rockers.

2. Freebies ‘Win Free Tickets’
By using free tickets it will attract my audience to buy my magazine because if
they like going to gigs they will get a chance to subscribe when reading my
magazine.

3. Colours I have used: Black, dark, grey, purple, pink and white
Using the darker colours and some brighter ones gives the magazine a
rocky feel and using the pinks and purples shows that the main target
buyers are for girls.

4. Lure: ‘I'm not your typical Rocker’
This will attract my audience of people who want to listen to
rock music but might not want to fit the stereotype of all
rockers. So having a artist the same means they can relate to
this.

5. Layout:
By having a simple organised layout means my audience of the
‘reformer’ and ‘struggler’ don't have to sift through unwanted
information as they ‘live for today’ and look for ‘enlightenment’

6. Cover lines: ‘winter tours’
This attracts the side of my audience that likes the idea of gigs
and music and tour dates and are more into that side of the
music.
