4. Rule 6, Section 4 Alternating Possession Art. 3 . . .An A-P throw-in shall result when: A. A held ball occurs. B. The ball goes out of bounds, as in 7-3 (later in slides) C. Simultaneous floor or free-throw violations occur. D. A live ball become lodged or rest on flange, (unless a free throw or throw-in follows) E. The ball becomes dead when neither team is in control and no goal, infraction nor end of a quarter/extra period is involved. F. Opponents commit simultaneous goaltending or B.I. violations G. Double personal, double technical or simultaneous fouls occur and the point of interruption is such that neither team is in control and no goal, infraction, nor end of quarter/extra period in involved.
5. Rule 6, Section 4 A-P Art. 4 . . .The direction of A-P arrow changes after throw-in ends Art. 5 . . .The opportunity to make a A-P throw-in is lost if the throw-in team violates. If either team fouls during an A-P throw-in, it does not cause the throw-in team to lose A-P arrow.
6. Rule 7, Section 3 Cause ball to go out of bounds – Simultaneously Art. 1 . . .It the ball goes O-B and was last touched simultaneously by two opponents, or if the official is in doubt as to who last touched, or it officials disagree, play shall be resumed by A-P.
