What is the Teen Grid on Second Life? Pia Klaar’s Journey into the TSL December 20, 2008 Presented in Second Life at the Teacher Networking Center on Eduisland V I have been on the Teen Grid for about a year now. I first came into the Teen Grid on Eye4You Alliance Island. How did I do this? When I first came into Second Life, I wanted to see how a virtual world could be used as a teaching and learning tool. I teach computers and history in a middle school. I quickly realized that I would not be able to have students at the middle school level be on Second Life on the Main Grid. How to get myself and my students onto the Teen Grid became my goal. It was not an easy task. There was no one with whom I could ask or get information on how to do it. So, I began to do research. And this is what I found.
