I personally have one student stand in front of the screen so that he/she cannot see what is on the screen. Other students call out the descriptions until the student in the front guesses the picture. If students say the "taboo" words, they lose a point for their team. Have fun!!! ESL students love this game!

1. Taboo You may say any words besides the words that are on the screen to describe the picture for the person. If you do say any of the words, you lose a point.

2. Cannot say – President, White House, Washington DC. President Obama

3. MickeyMouse Cannot say – Mickey Mouse, Disney Florida, Minnie

4. David Beckham Cannot Say Manchester Soccer Spice Girls England

5. Shrek Can’t say – Green, Fiona Donkey Ogre

6. Nuclear Bomb Can’t say – bomb, explode, war, rocket, plane

7. Steak Cant say Meat, Beef, Food, Cow

8. Empire State Building Can’t say New York, building, Manhattan

9. Airplane Can’t say Fly, Air, Pilot

10. Porsche Cannot say – Sports, France, fast, car.

11. New York Yankees Cannot say – NY, Baseball, Team.

12. Alligator/Crocodile Cannot say – Reptile, Green, Lizard,Swamp

13. Hawaii Cannot say – Waves, beaches, USA

14. Mars Can’t say – space, planet, earth.

15. Cant Say – Soda, Cola, Soft Drink

16. Pizza Cant say – Cheese, pepperoni,tomato sauce.
