LOCATION REPORTS
SCENE WHERE THEY FIRST MEET

The location we chose for this scene is Southgate.
This is because it is a local point for everyone. This
meant that it would be easy to get to even though
the weather conditions were evidently not great.

We chose this particular road because it is close to
one of our homes and we therefore knew that this
road is not as busy as others. Therefore, we would
experience less interruption during our filming and
as a result, we would be able to finish quicker than
if we were to film on a busy road.

     Problem(s) experienced:
Due to the weather conditions, the road surface was a
bit slippery. However, because it was not a major set
back, we decided to film as planned.
PERFORMANCE SCENES

We decided to use the actress’ home to film these
scenes. This was so that it would be easier and
quicker for the actress to change costumes.

Again, it was a local point for us all which meant that
it was a convenient location.

Additionally, the lighting in the room on this house
could be altered and act similar to a spotlight through
being turned to face the actress.

 Problem(s) experienced:
The available space in this room was not enough for us
to gain the correct camera framing. Therefore, we had
 to move the furniture.
PARK SCENES

This park, Groveland's Park, was a local park like all our
other locations. This meant that none of us would face any
problems reaching it.

The main reason why we chose this park is because it’s
scenic. Having visited it many times before, we knew that it
would be a perfect location for us to shoot our music video.

When we initially planned for a park scene, we immediately
knew that Groveland's Park would be a perfect location.

 Problem(s) experienced:
After filming for a while, we ran out of bread to give to the
ducks and swans. This meant that it was challenging to make
them swim towards us. However, some members of the
public kindly offered us more bread to feed the birds. Also, as
we took a dog with us, it meant that other dogs would come
over which, at times, disturbed our filming.
SCENE AT NIGHT
We used Alexandra Palace as our location for this
scene. We specifically chose to go at night time so that
we could include the lights which created a beautiful
             scenery.

As we had all visited this place before and it’s in Wood
Green, it was local and everyone was familiar it and
therefore no one had any issues getting there.

We believed that this location would be perfect for the
romantic feel that we constantly tried to achieve
             throughout our entire music video.

Problem(s) experienced: The first day that we went
there, it started to snow 10 minutes after we started
filming. Because we didn’t want to damage our camera
and we didn’t want our video quality to be affected, we
decided to go home and return on another day.
DINNER/PROPOSAL SCENE

Initially, we wanted to set this scene at a local restaurant. However, considering
the different types of shots and the time this would take along with the
restaurant being busy, we decided to set it at home. Additionally, we thought
that it would look more romantic if we set it at home which would fit in with our
                                                                       song choice.

Firstly, we started with deciding on which table to use. The dinner table was too
big and high for the type of romantic dinner we had in our minds. Therefore, we
created our own table using a small table which was raised using boxes.
Through doing this, we were able to create a smaller and lower table, as shown
below. We have taken pictures next to both tables to show the scale.
Once we had set up the table, we started to decorate it. It was a bonus that one of
our mums is a decorator and therefore had decorations for us to decorate the
                                   table with.

We stuck to a colour scheme of red and white as this symbolises love so we
collected all the red and white decorations that seemed romantic.

We used a tall vase filled with clear/white pebbles and artificial red rose petals as
the centre piece. We used white chairs decorated with red ribbons to stick to our
colour scheme. Next, we used red tea lights to create a romantic atmosphere and
dimmed the lights to enhance this effect. We used Robinsons squash to make it
seem like red wine which would again stick to our chosen colour scheme.
FINAL OUTCOME:

We also used strawberry cheesecake decorated with strawberry sauce on
white plates to comply with our chosen colours.
