2. 1) Position SwaddleBuddy™
n Place SwaddleBuddy label side up
with white loop fabric on the left
n White fabric is loop fabric in case of
overlap when wrapping arms

3. 2) Position Baby
n Place baby in the center of the
SwaddleBuddy
n Top edge should be even with baby’s
armpits

4. 3a) Wrap Arm
n Wrap baby’s right arm first
n Lift up arm and bring wrap up
between the arm and body
n Lower arm and bring wrap over top
of arm

5. 3b) Finish Wrapping Arm
n With fabric covering front of arm,
secure arm by wrapping around the
outside of arm
n Attach velcro to the velcro fabric on
the back side of the SwaddleBuddy

6. 4a) Wrap Other Arm
n Wrap baby’s left arm
n Lift up arm and bring wrap up
between the arm and body
n Lower arm and bring wrap over top
of arm

7. 4b) Finish Wrapping Arm
n With fabric covering front of arm,
secure arm by wrapping around the
outside of arm
n Attach velcro to the velcro fabric (or
overlap fabric) on the back side of
the SwaddleBuddy
n Top edge should be in baby’s armpits
and snug around the top of arm, not
down near the elbow.
n Hands should be completed covered

8. 5) Place Baby On Blanket
n Place baby on blanket or other
ready-made swaddle

9. 6) Swaddle Baby
n Wrap baby in blanket or swaddle as
usual
n Top of swaddle or blanket should be
around top of shoulders, not up by
the face
