#1 - Use Wordle to write "All About Me" _________________________________________________ Fourth grade students spent classroom time writing about their strengths.   They put these writing pieces in Wordle and made posters and displayed them on their lockers.

#3 - Use Wordle to share criteria ,[object Object]
#4 - Discuss reports with Wordle http://wordle.net/create   ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object]
#5 - Using Wordle and Etherpad to share success criteria ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object]
#6 - Guess the French fairytale - then use to highlight key words so students can write own tales.
#7 - Make the syllabus look interesting! ,[object Object]
#8 - Improve students' essay writing... ,[object Object]
#9 - Study an author's diction in-depth: On page one of Brave New World , Aldous Huxley establishes his mood and hints at his own views all through his diction.
#10 - Have each student write expectations he has of the classroom. Combine all lists in Wordle to create a Classroom Norms poster or team t-shirts.
#11 - Find out what ideas are most important in a famous speech.  I used Wordle to make the "word cloud" below out of the text from President Obama's Feb 24, 2009 speech to Congress. I chose a setting to display the 25 most frequently used words in his speech.   • 2. #1 - Use Wordle to write "All About Me" _________________________________________________ Fourth grade students spent classroom time writing about their strengths.   They put these writing pieces in Wordle and made posters and displayed them on their lockers.

  • 7. #6 - Guess the French fairytale - then use to highlight key words so students can write own tales.

  • 10. #9 - Study an author's diction in-depth: On page one of Brave New World , Aldous Huxley establishes his mood and hints at his own views all through his diction.
  • 11. #10 - Have each student write expectations he has of the classroom. Combine all lists in Wordle to create a Classroom Norms poster or team t-shirts.
  • 12. #11 - Find out what ideas are most important in a famous speech.  I used Wordle to make the "word cloud" below out of the text from President Obama's Feb 24, 2009 speech to Congress. I chose a setting to display the 25 most frequently used words in his speech.
