What is E-Week ?
E-Week is an annually celebrated Inter-Collegiate Festival by E-Cell,
SIMSREE which is all set to reach unprecedented heights with the launch
of E-Week'12, creating a benchmark for its forthcoming versions. Thereby,
We cordially invite you for all the events showcased as a part of this year's
E-Week Celebration.
What is a Business Plan?
A business plan is a formal statement of a set of business goals, the reasons
why they are believed attainable, and the plan for reaching those goals. It
may also contain background information about the organization or team
attempting to reach those goals. It is a document mapping the company's
future course of action and projections.
A well-structured business plan should encompass the following aspects:

Innovation and Value Proposition
Business Environment Analysis
Industry Background
Market Potential and Market Strategies
Competitor Analysis
Business Model
Financials and Cash Flow
Sustainability and Expansion Plans

3. How Do I participate?
To participate in B-Plan (E-Week'12), Visit our website www.ecell.simsree.net
and register with the name of your Team Leader.
Eligibility Criteria:
Students from MBA Colleges across the nation are eligible to participate.
Individual participation is allowed in the Competition though participation
in teams (maximum to 3) is encouraged.
Entries must be the original work of the participants i.e. team members
competing must be the principle owners of the venture or the plan.
Competition Rules:
1. A team can consist of a maximum of three members.
2. No person can be a part of more than one team.
3. The team members need not necessarily be from the same institute.
4. There is no restriction on the number of teams from one institute.
5. The students have to send the executive summary of their B-Plan
(in not more than 3 pages) before 31st Jan 2012 10.00pm. Please
include all participant name/s, institute name/s, email ids and
contact numbers along with your summaries to ecell@simsree.net.
6. The decision of the judges will be final & binding.
7. All the rules should be abided by all teams participating in the event.
Failure to comply with may result in disqualification.

4. Competition Process:
Important Notes:
Kindly be prepared with the detailed report. We may ask the shortlisted teams
to submit the detailed report on a short notice.
Train Travelling fares will be reimbursed (Only for General Sleeper Class or
Equivalent amount)
The names of the teams shortlisted will be displayed on the website
www.ecell.simsree.net and also on our Facebook page.
The shortlisted teams will also be intimated through email.
Final shortlists will be intimated by phone as well.
It is recommended that you follow our website and facebook page for further
updates.

This event would enable you to further refine your idea or work on another
idea to take part in next year's competition or even to start up your company

Prize Distribution:
First Shortlist 1st Feb 2012, by 10.00pm
Submission of detailed report 4th Feb 2012, by EOD
Final Shortlist 5th Feb 2012, by 5.00 pm
Presentation and Winners will be declared on 11th Feb 2012 at
SIMSREE premises
