—An investigation of the design and implantation of electromagnetic hearing
aids.
—Atherosclerosis and diabetes research performed using rats, in which he
tested a drug’s effect on skin flap survival.
—Two investigations of squamous cell carcinoma, one of which made use
of a nude mouse model and one of which looked into using a combination of
argon fluoride lasers and phthalocyanines to treat the condition.
—Research into using the Ki-67 monoclonal antibody to identify carcinoma
in the prostate.
—The use of hydroxyapatite to reconstruct the craniofacial skeleton in cats.
