2. Pins To Pendants
• Over the years I have gathered together many
pins. Some from my childhood, some from my
grandmother and many from a costume
jewelry company I worked for back in the day.
• But as Heidi Klum says on Project
Runway, “some days you’re in and some days
you’re out”.
• The fashion of pins comes and goes and I have
a simple tool to convert those pins into
unique, statement-making pendants.
3. So Many Pins….So little time
• I’m easily distracted by bright and shiny
objects.
4. Pin Converter
I found these pin converters in a bead store while walking
up and down the aisles and knew I had to try them. I also
recently purchased some on Amazon.com for only a few
dollars.
I like to have one in gold and one in silver.
5. Step One
• Open pin back and feed into converter
tube, keeping the
“pendant” part on
top.
6. Step 2
Close pin again
and you are
ready to start
wearing your
new pendant.
10. Just reverse the
steps and you have
your pin back.
It is ok if part of the
converter
shows, like the
example on the far
right. No one
would ever know
your statement
piece came from
Grandma’s jewelry
box.

cards and gifts for your friends and family. The only limit is your
imagination! For more ideas and hints on bringing creativity into
