Moderndog returns to Hard Rock Pattaya! They will be performing live on
Friday 31 January 2014 at Hard Rock Café Pattaya from 10.30 pm onwards.
Moderndog, one of the very first alternative rock bands in Thailand gained
massive popularity from the outset since their official launch in 1994.
Their talent shone in Coke Music Award that was held in 1992. The members
include Thanachai Ujjin (lead vocalist), Maythee Noijinda (guitarist) and
Pawin Suwannacheep (drummer).
With the great combination of rock-funk-soul and a timely ‘grunge’ vibe,
it was a a band of the time, and has in its years continued adding to its
growing legions fans ever sinc, and have become a reference point t many
new and up and coming bands alike. They signed under the indie label,
Bakery Music and after over 10 years, they founded their own music label.
Extending their reputation beyond Thailand, the band performed in Tokyo in
2003 and toured the United States in 2006.
They also have tied the
international collaboration with Tony Doogan from Belle & Sebastian,
Mogwai in producing the song ‘That Song’ in their 2004 album. There was

also special featuring of Yumiko Ohno from Buffalo Daughter and Sean
Lennon. The top hits include Bussaba, Kon, Kala, Tim, Scala, Lom Hai Jai,
Ta Sawang, Tur, Daad Song, Ma Nee, Sing Tee Mai Koey Bok, O-Noi-Oog.
Door opens from 9pm onwards. Tickets are THB 600 net including 1 drink or
