2. The skinheads emerged in England in the late 1960´s
What do they often wear?
1. Hair:
-Completely shaved or small hair.
2. Clothing:
-Polo shirt.
-Flight jackets or bombers.
-Cowboy pants or rolled up levis .
3. Footwear:
-Dr. Martens Boots.
-Dr. Martens shoes, brogue loafer type
or a kind of Adidas (hooligans).
What are they wearing?
There are two ways for skinhead dressing. Traditional skinheads wear more plain
Shirts, polo shirts and jeans, Dr. Martens boots and Harrington jackets. Radical skinheads
wear tight denim pants, steel toed boots and dangling earrings and ear chains in the pants
and women wear skirt with boots.

3. Why do they wear these clothes?
Skinheads adopted
this way of dressing
by the existing
working class
in England.
Also to differentiate
themselves from other
urban tribes
and to create
a lifestyle.
